![]() In the visual novel, she still locked herself in her room and cried, but it was all over very quickly, so there wasn't as much of an impact. I liked how Nayuki snapped at Yuuichi when he was trying to comfort her, as it added more tension to the situation, and also showed how much the event was impacting her. It wasn't the best, obviously, but it was better handled in the anime than in the visual novel. I do like how the anime handled the whole situation with her mom though. However, they could have added more of those small and short scenes from the visual novel just to give it a bit more length, and also to establish Yuuichi and Nayuki's relationship more, since their relationship was handled fairly poorly in the adaptation. The other scenes were mostly just them shopping or eating out together.Ĭonsidering most of the events that happen in her arc are minor, I guess I can understand why her arc was so short in the anime. I can't remember many specific scenes, but one had Yuuichi waking up with Nayuki beside him in his bed.
